Playing catch up...

Since we have a weather day from school (lots of ice...no snow!), and seeing how I did not get any blogging done over the holidays, I am going to play catch up now! Mostly with pics..

Ok, for Halloween Cal was Superman! He loved the costume! Ha! We didn't really trick-or-treat, but we just rode and visited friends around town.

The rest of October and November were pretty quiet...we finished up football season with making it to the 2nd round of the playoffs, which hadn't been done in Brandon in a while! It was a great 1st season here! :) We had several great pep rallys and got some visitors for one! They came to talk to the health classes and came early for the pep rally....

In case you don't recognize theses guys, it's Brennan, Patrick, and Frado! Patrick is a Brandon native. He grew up there and graduated from BHS. He went on to win this past season if TBL! It was awesome to see these guys and here their stories about their journey! The season was only halfway over on TV when they made this appearance, so even if I had been on top of blogging, I couldn't have posted these photos until after the winner was annouced. Ha!

We had a great Thanksgiving, but with all the traveling and chasing the little man, I didn't get and pics! But he LOVED dressing, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and of couse all the bread!

We had the Lindley Family Christmas Dirty Santa swap early in December this year. It was the only time we could all get together! It wouldn't matter if we did it in July, as long as we can all be there, it's worth it! I Loved being able to see everyone! But again, with all the packing present, his bag, etc, I actually forgot my camera on this trip! Yes, I'm kicking myself now, but I did get some emailed to me.

Taking Christmas card pics this year was a HOOT! But we did get some OK ones...here are the ones we used in the card. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Santa was good to Cal this year! He got a Mickey Mouse fold out sofa, some books and clothes and several other little toys! Then from my parents/family and Brad's parents/family, he got soooooo much! Our living room looks like Toys-r-Us!! We are going to have to invest in a toy chest and also move some of it to his room. I just hate to do that just yet, because I don't want him playing just in his room the whole time.

As I said in a previous post, Cal and I were both sick before Christmas. The worst of mine his Christmas Eve after we got to Macon. I fell asleep on Mom's couch and missed Christmas Eve service at church! Cal went with Mom to church and the nap helped me make it through the rest of the night. Cal had a big time playing with Hailey and Beau that night while opening presents.

This was actually Uncle Wade's cowbell, but Cal just thought he had to walk around with it and test it out!

We spent Christmas Day at Brad's folks and Cal lived it up there too! He wasn't into it completely this year, but he was still wide open! I LOVED it! I can only imagine what next year will be like! Ha!
