Happy 4th of July...and other summer events/outings...

Cal's "school" does a little 4th of July parade through the parking lot every year. This year was no different! It's so hot out there in the middle of the afternoon, but it's well worth the cuteness that the parade brings! All the kiddos were decked out in their red, white, and blue and lots of decorations. Some of the signs the older kids made were adorable. Cal's class made little hats out of paper bowls! :)

We also had a playdate with Delancey and her mom to the Museum of Natural Science to see the Dinosaur Exhibit, which I thought Cal would love because he's kinda into dinos here lately. But I was WRONG!!!! He was TERRIFIED! Granted, they were super big and moved around and made sounds....but there was a "baby" dinosaur in the toddler room that he loved! HA!

Cal also moved into a toddler bed this summer! And we got rid of the papi! And he is potty trained!!! It's been a BIG summer for Mr. Cal!!

 The Parade....

Our hat didn't make it long!

He spotted his daddy and stole his gatorade! All that parading will work up a thirst!

Bout to have a snack in the room with his friends!

The Museum...
This is the baby dino that he loved...he asks to go back and see her all the time!

He also liked the deer and stood by it so we could take a picture for PaPa and PawPaw.

Cal and Delancey playing with the puzzle in the toddler roo

The Bulldogs played in several 7on7 tournaments this summer  and this was a big one! And we won!!!! We were all so excited and it got us all super ready for the season! We also won another one in Oxford! WoopWoop! :)

His big boy bed....
And the carpet burn on his nose after taking a nose dive off the bed...he saw himself in the mirror and said "THERE'S A BUTTERFLY ON MY NOSE!!!!"

I needed a few things from Target the other day and we got popcorn before shopping (thanks to the suggestion of a friend) and it was the best idea ever! He sat right there and ate his popcorn...he never tried to get out, reach for toys, etc! It was the greatest shopping experience with him to date! :) I believe all stores should sell popcorn! HA!
Brad had his coaches retreat/cookout this past week and Cal sported his Under Armor for the first time ever! He just looks like such a big boy here....kinda makes me sad!!!
Until next time...
