Beach Trip 2012

We made our annual beach trip again this year and it was wonderful! We went towards the end of June and actually stayed out at Fort Morgan this year, and I LOVED it! We were right there at the beach and had a great pool close by! There were several little shops, markets, and a few restaurants out there. Before we even went, we decided that we were not going to go out to eat at night and that was the best part! We did end up going one night, but it was so late when we went, we hardly had to wait. The other nights we grilled out or ordered in. We did cook a little. :) If you are looking for a relaxing and low key place to stay, especially if you have small kids, Fort Morgan is the place to go! (Yeah, I know, I sound like a commercial!)

Anywho....

He liked the sand this first day...it wasn't too hot .....

And he even liked the water splashing up on his little legs....so at this point I'm thinking, oh this is gonna be a good trip cause he likes the sand/water this year!

And then the next day he gets to playing in the sand/water and he makes it a little while then decides he HATES it!!! He just wanted to go to the pool the entire trip. Which, truth be told, was FINE with me cause I'm more of a pool person myself. :) He may look like his daddy, but he's got lots of his mama in him! HA!

So here we are at the pool which is where we spend the next 5 days! It was so shallow! He loved it and loved his frog. He really didn't even need it in the shallow end, but he didn't want to take it off.

This was the night we went out to eat. Reid, Amy, and the kids had just gotten down, so we met them at Tacky Jack's. The kids had a blast playing while we waited to be seated.
