Secret Pal and a Boo-Boo

We do Secret Pal at school and I must say that I LOVE it! Ha! I love getting little happies to make other people happy, especially when they don't know who it's coming from! AND I love getting happies! Nothing makes your day like coming to your room and seeing a bucket full of twix or a candle, etc. I know I can be such a dork, but it really is fun! Just adds a little something to work and also lets you get to know people you may not be also to be around that much. We switch up every 9 weeks, so we just finished and revealed this morning for this past 9 weeks.

Anyways....my Secret Pal was Mrs. McInnis and I loved having her. She is such a creative person and I stressed over what to get her at first, but then I kinda figured her out a little bit and had fun with it. She didn't know it was me! AND she had a little happy for whoever had her as a thank you for all the things she'd gotten the past 9 weeks. I was SO excited over what she gave me! I have pictures below, but she also has a post about it on her blog. I have a link to her blog on my side over there, but if you haven't ever checked it out, click here! She is just amazing! Also, while you are blog hopping, please check out this other blog, Michelle Leach Art. This wonderfully talented teacher friend of mine is also amazing! I am just blown away every time I look at her work! I can't wait to purchase some things! :)

Isn't this just beautiful! I know I'll end up begging her to make me different bows/ribbons for different seasons! She's just got that eye, ya know! Amazing! And like I said, she did a post on her blog and went into detail on how she did everything.
Those are little decorated easter eggs in there. I just cannot stress how beautiful they are and how much I love it!

The Boo-Boo

We had a tennis match after school today and Brad had to be there. After I picked Cal up, we stopped by there to see Daddy. He played and played and had a big ole time, but then he was going to step up on the sidewalk and he got tripped up and fell face first into the curb. It was like in slow motion and I really thought he missed it. I immediately picked him up and it took a while to get that first cry out, so again, I thought he'd missed it. But he did hit the curb on the corner of his right eyebrow. It didn't bleed at first, but it didn't take long. And it just puffed up! He cried but not for too long. He really was a big boy. We came on home and I cleaned it, etc. Then we went back to the baseball game and he never acted like it bothered him. But he'll have a good little knot and bruise for a few days. Oh and they took their class group pictures at school today! So glad it was today and not tomorrow!! Ha!
