HE'S HERE!!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Cal Daniel Peterson made his way into the world last Thursday morning at 4:16 a.m. Yes, he's early, but he was ready! He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19 inches long.

I made a surprise trip to the doctor Wednesday morning due to what I thought (and was right) small contractions. We found out that he was breech and doc told us to come straight back no matter what time if the contractions got stronger and more regular because we'd have to do a section cause he was too big to turn. She said it could be that night, the weekend, or 2 weeks...we were basically just sitting on go!! Well, that night around 12:30 they started getting worse and about 5 minutes apart. We waited about an hour to make sure (cause I'd been having them on and off all day).

We got to the hospital around 2 and they hooked me up and did all that good stuff and around 3 I got checked out by the doc and she said it was go time! When a doc calls for a section in the middle of the night, it's like a mad rush!! I was freaking out! HA! But everything went great and we're doing great!! And it was the MOST amazing feeling when she announced that it was a boy!!! It was DEFINITELY worth the wait!

OH and...we played Starkville at Starkville this past Friday night!! Mom came and stayed while Dad went and coached!! :) We won and Brad came straight back to the hospital!! We'd always joked that he'd be born that weekend cause we'd already be in Starkville....ha! Little did we know! We saw some pics from the game on some paper's website and there was a close up of Brad and you can clearly see his hospital arm band! :) And Lauren got to come Thursday (Linda and Danny went to get her) and she was pretty pumped up! I can't wait for her to get back and get to know her little brother a little better!
