Not the baby, but football season! HAH! Terrible, I know! But we've been waiting a long time for this also! We had our first game this past Friday night at home against North West Rankin and we won 41-21!!! Go Wildcats!! We had a big crowd and the newly renonivated stadium looked great! They're still working out some kinks with the consession stand and such, but it's so nice to have an updated stadium!!!
As you probably know, I am hot and sweaty all the time, so I was so excited to hear that it was supposed to be cooler Friday night....THE WEATHER MAN LIED!!! It was so humid and sticky!! That's just part of it, but my ankles and feet didn't like it too much! They were enormous!!! I tried to put them up when I got home, but with everyone coming to the house afterwards, I just wanted to be up and about!
Anyways, just wanted to share about the Wildcats!! We go to Starkville next Friday!
While I'm here, brief baby update...
I went to the doc this past week and he said everything was looking great...just to hang in there! HA! With my feet and ankles swelling so much, I've been a little worried, but my blood pressure, protein, and everything else was fine, so he said not to worry! He also predicted that the baby probably weighed 6 pounds!!! I asked him about the baby getting too big to deliver and he said that might be an issue with the way he/she's growing right now! If I haven't done anything by the middle of Sept., we'd do the last sonogram to get a more accurate size and make a decision then!!!!
I'm just counting the days...especially until I can leave school!! It's just wearing me out these days! And we've only been a week and 2 days!!! HA! I love teaching and the middle school, but I am needing the rest these days!!! I know I won't be getting much when the baby comes!
