Long time, so see

With school and football starting back, it has been HECTIC in the Peterson household! It's something just about every night of the week, and when we are actually at home, it's cleaning, catching up on laundry, and all that good stuff. But it's all good! :) We've been doing great. Cal is just as active as ever. And since he's fully recovered from his surgery, he has been eating like crazy! Well, except for this past weekend...he's got a little cold and hasn't wanted to eat as much. He's literally gained like 4 pounds in the past month! But other than that, he's full speed. He's talking so much and starting talking in sentences...like, "Look what I did!", "Uh-oh, what happened?", "I can't reach it", and so much more. He's also got his "No mam" down pat! He even says it to Brad! Ha! We can't quite get that "mam" is for girls and "sir" is for boys, but he's working on it. And he is so good with his "thank you" and "please". :) He really is such a sweet boy. He still loves him some Toy Story and Cars, but his new favorite is Tarzan, but that's OK because it's one of mine and Brad's fave too! Ha!

We also just celebrated his 2nd birthday!! WooHoo!! It was the 27th! I'm planning to do a post all to that soon...aka, when I have time to upload all my birthday pics! Ha! But it was great! We didn't really do a theme...just some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse things, including the cake. But he had a blast.

Also, our 24 month check up was GREAT! He's grown sooooo much since having his tonsils out! Seriously, before the surgery, he wasn't even on the chart for weight and was in between the 5th and 10th in height. And now he is in the 25th for weight!! YAY!!!! Height only went up to in between 10 and 15, but it's an improvement! We also so another endocrinologist in Memphis this past week to get a second opinion and start discussing growth hormones, etc and that appointment went really good. We are reassured that we are on the right track as far as controlling his thyroid levels and they want to keep a close eye on him and recheck everything every 3 months and then do more testing when he turns 3. We felt so reassured after meeting with this last doctor and his team. They were amazing! There is no price for peace of mind!

Like I said, I am planning to do pics of the party soon, but in the meantime, he are some recent ones from my phone!

He LOVES him some chocolate milk.
He had to hold on to the chocolate when we got more at the store!
Bed Head and a messy face/PJ's! Aka...lazy Saturday!
Helping mama cook...he's big on "helping" these day! He got that oven mitt all by himself after I told him that the over was hot! :)
He doesn't want to use a spoon for his yogurt anymore....it's interesting to say the least!
And last, but not least.....
GO DAWGS!!!!
