Happy 4th of July!!

For Independence Day, Cal's daycare had their own little parade! It was soooo cute! All the kids were decked out in red, white, and blue and all had little flags and hats, etc. The older ones threw out candy and each class had a banner! And even though they only went around the parking lot, they had a police escort! I know it made them feel important!

Cal's age group was pulled in the wagons. They're just at an age where they would run wild, and it was way more of them than adults. Ha! But it was so precious! And his favorite part was the cupcake he got afterwards!

He was so proud to see his Daddy there to get him!

Lovin his cupcake!

We also made the rounds for the holiday weekend and Cal got an early birthday present!!! Gran and PawPaw surprised us with it!! We all know Cal is such a Jeep man, and when they saw this, they couldn't resist. They gave it to him early, so he could really enjoy it before having to start back to school full time.

"Yeah, Check Me Out!!"

We also did a few "chores" around the house, one of which included washing the cars. Cal was a big help! HA! He started out helping some, but then just wanted to hold/spray the water hose and then play in the bucket. Until he fell over in it. The car washing was done with on Cal's part, and he just wanted to ride in his jeep!

This was about the time the playing with the water was over with...you can only imagine where it went from here!

We also had some friends over Monday night to eat watermelon and enjoy the fireworks being shot in the neighborhood. Cal loved the watermelon...but the fireworks...not so much! As soon as they started, he crawled up in my lap and held on for dear life! And he's seen them before, so it was strange for him to act like that! But he was tired...he was asleep on my shoulder with 20 minutes of climbing up on me.

"Happy 4th Y'all!!"

Hope you all had a great and safe holiday! God Bless America!

Oh, and we go this week to a new ENT for a second opinion on his tonsils. We HOPE/PRAY this Dr. will go on a take them out. We've had a few scarey moments during the nights with his breathing! Keep us in mind!
