He likes to turn the water on, hold his hand underneath it, then either splash his face or just rub his hand together. He was soaking wet!
Chillin with his friends...
Brad and I also ran in our first race! WooHoo! We did a 5K here in town (well, actually it was on the Spillway), but our school district put it on. The weather was great and we both had really good times for it being our first race! We are looking forward to many more! :)
Someone just HAD to wear his Mama's running hat.
We did not get ANY snow in this past "winter weather storm" and were so disappointed! I bought Cal some boots and everything to be able to play in the snow! Oh well. And the boots are an interesting story. He did NOT like them at first. Still not a big fan, but he'll at least put them on now. The first time we put them on, I had to wrestle him to the floor to get them on. Then once I stood him up, he wouldn't move! It was like his feet were stuck to the floor. Then he attempted to walk and it looked like Frankenstein! It was hilarious! It's now more of a high step when he walks in them now and it throws off his balance a little bit, but he's getting better!
Lauren had her Beauty and Beau pageant at school and I would have lost money that night. I know I'm biased, but she really did look amazing! When she first walked out on stage, I told Brad I had a good feeling. But she didn't place. Dang judges. Ha. And Cal wasn't so much on sitting there....he and Brad walked the halls most of the night, then every now and then you would hear Cal hollar "PawPaw"! We were sitting close to the back and Cal could see us from the doorway. I guess he just wanted to make sure we were still there. It was a hoot.
We took Cal to the Livestock show at the Dixie Nationals yesterday. We were just going to ride out there and see if we could see any horses in the parking lot, etc and didn't expect to go walk around and really get to see the cows, horses, pigs, and goats so I didn't have my camera! I told Brad we were going to have to go back so I could get some pics, because Cal LOVED it! Especially the cows! He "moo'd" I know 5 thousand times! We do want to take him in the actual rodeo one day next week, so hopefully I'll have some pics of that next week.
