On December 6th, 2008, we headed off to Jackson to play for the 3A State Championship Title against Tylertown. After a big send off at The Bypass, there was a steady flow of Wildcat supporters traveling Highway 25! The game was beyond the most exciting of the season, and Tylertown was an extremely talented team. To make a long story short, we won 26-21, thanks to a great defense that rewally stepped up in the last few seconds! Being on that field and seeing the happiness and relief in those players and coaches was so amazing! It was just a very overwhelming time and I was so proud!! The Louisville Wildcats were more than deserving of this state title and again, I could not be prouder!!
