Football 2008, part 1

Ok, so I know it's a little late, but I wanted to recap the past football season, because it was definitely a wild one! We started the year off in fashion with a jamboree against Meridian and South Panola. Then we went on to beat Starkville (first time in 3 years!) to start the regular season. We played the first few games without some key players, but still seemed to be pushing towards another title. We finished the regular season with a loss to Winona, record 8-3. The first round of playoffs was at home again J. J. McClain and we were down by 14 at halftime. Well, that 3rd quarter was a changing point we'll all remember. Those boys came out and played their hearts out. We won that game and continued winning playoff games (even with all the challenges that came about) and found ourselves back in Jackson for the second year in a row!

The Tursday before the State Championship was Brad's birthday. A group of faithfuls fed the team that night after practice and had a cake for Brad. It was such a great beginning to a wonderful weekend! Then that Saturday of the game, there was a big send off breakfast, courtesy of The Bypass. Here are a few pics...
