We hit up 2 different Pumpkin Patches this year...and had a blast at both. The first was the little one in Macon, which was much better than I expected! :) And the second was the big Nichols-Boyd Pumpkin Patch on Highway 43. This was with his class....his first official field trip!!!! Like rode the school bus and everything! They loaded each child's carseat on the bus. All parents followed in our own cars. I'll admit that I was teary eyed the whole time I was following the bus, because it made me realize that my baby is such a big boy now! Anyway....we had so much fun with all his little friends and their parents. Picture time....and it's a lot! :)
This was the Pumpkin Patch in Macon. I didn't think I've ever get him away from these "HUGE" tires!
He loved them!
The corn was another hit...
And of course, the slide! Got to love some Macon engineering!
Going on the Hay Ride
Stopping to check out the sunflowers...
Time to pick our pumpkin....which was an ordeal! He had to pick up and check out every single one...
Finally got one!

This was the field trip with his class. As most of you probably know, it's nearly impossible to get a good group picture with this many 3/4 year olds...but this is the best I got...
We got to see several animals first...and Cal was terrified of this big turkey, so he was weary about having his back to him so I could get a picture...
Here we go again trying to pick out a pumpkin...it was morning time, so they were all still wet from dew, and Cal did not like that one bit!
More sunflowers!
The hay maze...he loved this. All the kids did!
More corn...I was really surprised how much he liked to play in the corn! :)
These were some interesting little swings, but he jumped right up there and held on!
There were so many other stops, but I didn't have a chance to get pictures, but we didn't get off the trailer. We stopped at a pond and watched the fish get fed. He loved to see them splashing up to get that food. We stopped in a pasture of cows, and the man lead the cow all around the trailer for each kid to see up close. The cow kept trying to eat the hay. Then we stopped to see more goats, and then a Zedonk! Which is a mix between a zebra and donkey....obviously! I hate I didn't get a good picture! Cal still talks about that Zedonk.
Snack time after the ride!
A few more photo ops before loading the bus!
Several parents who went checked their child out afterwards and they were able to leave with Mom and/or Dad. I only took the morning off, so I was scared that Cal would want to go with me when he saw all his friends leaving with their Moms/Dads. But that thought never even crossed his mind! He was so excited about riding that school bus and when it was time to load back up, he was the first in line! I really think that was he favorite part of the whole trip! HA!
I'm so thankful for such a great daycare that does so many wonderful things, such as this trip, for the kids!
