This season has been a busy one and we've only had one regular game! HA! First we had a scrimmage at Clinton 2 weekends ago. It was soooo hot. I literally had sweat just dripping off me everywhere. And Cal was just miserable. :( We "played" Madison Central. It was very controlled. It was really a scrimmage for new officals to practice calls, etc. And then last weekend we had a jamboree at Mississippi State. We played Columbus. It was so neat to watch the boys play (and Brad coach) on Scott Field. I took LOTS of pictures! Cal didn't make this game. He stayed with his Evie! Then Meet the Bulldogs was this past Monday and we had a huge turnout! Cal made it through that just fine. He had lots of people that were entertaining him and there was also lots to look at on the field. And THEN, our first real game was this past Friday night. There were so many people at the game, it was just amazing. And then there was the game...omg, I think I aged 5 years that night! Ha! It was 0-0 after the first quarter, second quarter, third quarter, fourth quarter, and 1st OT! Then it was 3-3 after 2nd OT!!! And finally in the 3rd OT, we had the ball first and went up 6-3 and then they missed the FG! Talk about a place going WILD! It was such a great way to start the season! It was hot but not just terrible. Plus, we had really good seats. I was worried about Cal making it through the game but soon after we got in, I saw another baby about his age and I was inspired (see pics below). So when he got his seat, he was good to go! Sat there the entire time! I was amazed! He ate his puffs and other snacks, drank his juice, and just enjoyed playing with the people around him and watching the game. And the bands at halftime. He really liked them! He never cried while at the game and it was a long game. I could tell he was getting tired, but he hung in there. But he crashed before we even made it out of the parking lot! I had to change him when we got home and was afraid he would wake up and want to play, but he went straight back to sleep as soon as I put him down. And never woke up even with all the people that came over for the after game deal at the house! Blessed! We have Pearl this week (on Cal's birthday) and I hope we can get another W! "Eat Dirt Pearl!"

Sporting our 2010 shirts! One of the players moms got one made for Cal!
Cal's seat at the game! It was the best! We've gotten a lot of use out of this portable high chair, but I've never been so thankful for it as I was Friday night! (Thanks Lee and Stacey!)
