I told myself I was going to do better about blogging now that school was out and I had all this "free time" because of summer......HA! So anyways....speaking of summer, I CANNOT believe that it is halfway gone! It seems like yesterday that I was giving final exams and before you know it we'll be right back in school. It's going to be so hard to take Cal to day care. I have gotten so spoiled being home with him everyday! I think it will be harder on me than him because he LOVES to play and be around other childern. There is a nursery/playroom at the gym we've joined here in Brandon and he loves going there every morning and getting some good play time in. We've also gotten the chance to be around the precious Mary Milton a few times and he loves her too! Morgan and I had lunch today and I wish I would have had my camera to get them sitting by each other in the high chairs. It was soo cute! I'll remember it next time.
Cal and his friend Major before going out to eat!
Cal and Major when we got back to the house! They were OUT!
Calman turned 10 months the end of June and with that "birthday" came teeth! Finally! His bottom 2 teeth are in, but one is a little higher than the other (but haven't been able to get a good pic yet). I know that's got to be painful. And that's what I'm blaming his awful sleeping habits on. He hardly even sleeps good in our bed anymore. Hopefully, this will pass soon. He's weighing in around 19 lbs, is still in size 3 diapers, and still in 6-9 month clothes (haven't had a growing spurt in a while). He LOVES to be in the water, either the little pool we have out back or the bathtub! He will get soooo tickled and will just cackle, especially when he (or anyone else) sneezes! It's the funniest thing. We're starting more table foods...kind of. I am terrified of him choking! Maybe that will pass when he gets some more teeth and he can chew things a little better. He is also pulling up on everything and starting to try to walk holding on to some things. We've also had a few bumps and bruises here lately, even a good scratch and little bust on his lip. But he's def one tough little boy!
10 Months
Having some hair issues...it would NOT go down! A lady even came up to us at Wal Mart and said "Oh, yall are spiking his hair already?" I just said no mam, we just can't get it to lay down! Ha!
We also had Beau's 2nd birthday party in June and Cal had a big time playing with the birthday boy and all his new trucks! He even tried (and succeeded) to eat one of the logs from the log truck! Don't ask.
We spent the 4th in Louisville and I didn't really get many good pics because: A) Cal was obsessed with the dog and wouldn't look at me and 2) Cal was passed around like a hot potatoe and I was also too busy visiting myself! :)
Now that Cal is literally all over the place, he just follows me around everywhere (which is great) when I am doing things around the house. That is until he is distracted by a door stopper...his new favorite toy! But his favorite chore is to help load/unload the dishwasher...or just look at himself in it!

YAY!!! for new pictures - he is too cute! Hope to see y'all soon!
He is sooo cute, I love the hair!!! It's so funny because a lot of his and Austin's habits are so similar. By the way thank you for posting my button!!! Take care....
I have to third it--He is SOOO cute! Mary Milton is quite smitten! :)
We had so much fun seeing y'all. We've got to let them have another lunch date again before school starts!
By the way, I'm impressed that you are already working out at a gym everyday. I've lived here for 6 years and still haven't joined one!
He's so cute Lindley--and he looks just like Brad!!
That last pic of him playing with the door stop made Ryan and I laugh so much--that was Porter's favorite thing to do when he was that age!! He would totally go right by the toy box and straight for the door stopper!
