Catching up

Yes, I know it's been forever! I apologize! The 2 weeks we had for Christmas break were WONDERFUL, but hectic! And they flew by! So I spent my time relaxing (when possible) and just enjoying good quality family time! Everything seems to be flying by these days! Sometimes, I want to slow down time! Especially with how fast Cal is growing! It's just blowing my mind. Some friends of ours just had a baby and I saw her today...she is soooo tiny compared to Cal. I thought he was still small until I saw this newborn. I can't believe he is 4 and a half months old!

As far as Cal goes, he is really getting a personality and just getting so big. He can sit up (with some help), he has the biggest grin and gets so tickled! He'll just chuckle and giggle at everything. He'll also make the funniest faces...like scrunching up his nose at something he's unsure about. He also gets so into the TV. I guess it's the colors and movements, but he'll just zone into it! He got an exersaucer for Christmas and is really starting to like it...he's still getting used to it. He also got a Bumbo chair and it's been great because now that he's got so much head and upper body control, he loves to be able to sit up and look around at everything. He is also starting to teeth, which has not been fun so far, but we are getting used to it. It's really messed up his sleeping. He was doing great...sleeping through the night in his own bed! But for the past week or so, he's been waking up every hour or 2 just being fussy...we'll go check on him, sooth him a little bit, put his paci back in and he'll fall right back asleep. But it's not long at all before we're back up doing the same thing! Any suggestions??

His first Christmas was good...he slept through most of everything! HA! We did 4 months shots on the 23rd, so that really kinda messed him up for the few days after that. 4 month shots were NOT FUN! Much worse than 2 month! They really bothered him more this time and it took him a few days to get over it! But the time with friends and family was amazing!
