Sickness

Cal is still sick! :( We went to the doctor this past Monday (when they pricked his heel) because of that low grade fever he ran all last weekend. Well, we had to go back today!! They had given him some over the counter cold meds and said if he wasn't any better and still feverish to bring him back, so that's what we did today!

Turns out, Cal's got ear infections...in both ears!! That's what causing the fever and all the congestion and mess in his nose. Doc said his lungs sounded great and his throat looked good...it's just all in his ears and nose! Poor baby! He's just so pitiful and wants to be held all the time! So much for trying not to spoil him by holding him constantly! Ha! So now we have one antibiotic for his ears and another for his congestion!! And he hates them both! He did all but spit it back in my face this afternoon! Then if he's still acting ill and running this fever in 5 days, we'll have to go back again!! So say a little prayer for us that these meds work and these infections do not get any worse!

But he does weigh 9 pounds exactly! He's growing like a weed!
