Happy Anniversary!
This past weekend was our first anniversary (May 24th to be exact)! I just can't believe how fast this year has gone by!!! Since it was also Memorial Day weekend, we had a little cookout at Danny and Linda's and my parents came also...Mom brought our frozen wedding cake for us to eat on Sunday. We were a little skeptial of eating cake that's been in the freezer an entire year, but we tried it that Sunday morning and suprisingly enough, it was really good!!! That Mrs. Jean Reed can sure make a cake! HA! And speaking of surprises, we were enjoying a lazy Sunday morning and Brad just all of sudden said let's go somewhere. I really thought he was joking, but next thing I knew he said he had a room booked for the night in New Orleans!! Needless to say, I went to packing and getting dressed! We had a great little get-away! It was a definitely a great anniversary!!
